Renewable Energy Systems: Fundamentals, Technologies, Techniques and Economics
This lecture book is a joint project that was prepared by researchers from the Otto-von-Guericke-Universitat Magdeburg, Germany, Chair for Electric Power Networks and Renewable Energy (led by Prof. Dr. Z.A. Styczynski) and from the Irkutsk State Technical University, Russia, Chair of Electric Power Systems (led by Prof. Dr. N.I. Voropai). It is based on ten years of lectures, which were presented at the Otto-von-Guericke-University on the topic "Renewable Energy@, and describes the green technologies and techniques in this field. This book is dedicated to the students, especially in the Masters courses, at both electric engineering faculties and is intended to be used as an accompaniment to the lectures.
