The paper presents the results of the analysis of harmonic parameters that were measured at the nodes of connecting railway substations to the feeding network. Traction load is nonlinear, unbalanced and stochastic. The 3-rd and 5-th harmonics are dominant in the current of the traction load. The paper shows some properties and specific features of the measured parameters of 3-rd and 5-th harmonics.
