Numerical solving an inverse boundary value problem of heat conduction using Volterra equations of the first kind
In this paper, an inverse boundary value problem of heat conduction is considered. To solve this problem, we propose a new approach based on the Laplace transform. This approach allows us to reduce the original problem to solving Volterra equations of the first kind. Algorithms for numerically solving the resulting integral equations are developed. The algorithms are based on the product integration method and quadrature of middle rectangles. A series of test calculations is performed to test the efficiency of the numerical methods
