Knowledge Engineering in Resilience Research of Energy and Ecological System
Abstract: This article describes the application of ontological and cognitive modeling in the research of “elastic resilience” of energy and ecological systems. It outlines the processes of ontological and cognitive engineering, provides examples of ontologies and cognitive maps, and suggests a method for integrating ontological, cognitive, and mathematical modeling of the fuel and energy complex (FEC) in the resilience studies of energy systems (ES). It also discusses the results of computational experiments to assess the resilience of energy and ecological systems, including the use of machine learning methods. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. 2024.
