Analysis of pollution sources for surface effluent in residential areas
The problems of the ecological state of residential areas are often caused not only by production activities, but also by the housing and communal complex. The problem of effluent formation in modern conditions requires the search of new approaches and technical decisions. Surface effluent nascent with the exploitation of urbanized areas contains mainly mechanical types of pollution. The object of this study is the surface effluent formed from Universitetsky district territory in Irkutsk. The residential area and the regime of its sanitary cleaning in summer and winter time have been analyzed. The obtained results indicate the presence of a dependence of the mechanical pollution concentration of and the frequency of sanitary cleaning of residential areas. Thus, a significant increase of the pollution degree of surface effluent is noted in the absence of daily sanitary cleaning. © 2022 Author(s).
