International Research Center "Energy infrastructure in Asia"
- was founded in 2003 on the basis of Melentiev Energy Systems Institute SB RAS in the form of an open laboratory in accordance with the Resolution of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences No. 248 of 03.07.2003.
The center was created to organize and coordinate the research of Russian and foreign scientists to be focused on development of directions and principles of interstate intersectoral energy infrastructure in Asia-Pacific region and, first of all, in Northeast Asia.

Our Mission:

  • Development of principles for creation of an international intersectoral energy infrastructure;
  • Development of methodology, tools and mechanisms for implementation of international energy supply programs;
  • Scientific substantiation of activity, elaboration of strategies and promising research programs in the field of creation and development of interstate fuel and energy ties, complexes, interconnections;
  • Analysis of research works on formation of energy infrastructure;
  • Implementation of joint international research projects
