Aiming to address voltage harmonic distortion at the point of common coupling (PCC) in wind farms, this study proposes a harmonic suppression strategy for grid-forming converters (GFM) under weak-grid, grid-connected, and islanded conditions. The method employs bandpass filters and weighted feedforward to reshape the output impedance, effectively mitigating the coupling between output current harmonics and PCC voltage. Simulation results demonstrate that the strategy suppresses dominant harmonics, reducing PCC voltage total harmonic distortion (THD) from 4.84% to 2.5% in islanded operation and from 4.61% to 3.94% during grid-connected operation, while maintaining system passivity and stability. This approach provides a practical solution to enhance power quality in wind farm converter systems. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Co., Ltd. 2026.
