Joint seminar with Huawei was held in Irkutsk

A joint seminar with the Chinese company Huawei took place in Irkutsk on March 15-16, 2022. The main purpose of the seminar was to discuss joint research and development in the field of high technologies with access to specific scientific and technological projects. The meeting was fruitful and useful for understanding promising areas of activity. After an intensive presentation of their vision and discussion, the parties came to the conclusion that the emphasis on cooperation can be placed on the development of mathematical models, methods and efficient computational algorithms for solving advanced problems in the field of energy, and more specifically on the development of intelligent (smart) control systems for hybrid and integrated power systems of various profiles and purposes in accordance with the 3D concept (digitalization, distribution and decarbonization), corresponding to the achievements and promising areas in the electric power industry. It should be noted that the institute already has experience of successful cooperation with Huawei. Discussion of specific proposals and projects will continue in the near future.
