February 07, 2019
According to the results of the contest for the best research project in fundamental research of 2019, held by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research in cooperation with the State Natural Science Foundation of China, the project “Nonlinear Dynamic Models for Wind Power: Forecasting and Storage Management” (proj. chief RAS prof. D.Sidorov) was recognized as the best. From China, the project partners are leading mathematicians from the Central South University in Changsha (Hunan Province). Testing of the developed methods will be carried out on real electric power systems with renewable sources and energy storage in Russia (Baikal region and Yakutia) and in China (Hunan). leading research funds of Russia and China: Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the NSFC are funding the project. Our congratulations to the winners!
