The international peer-reviewed journal "Energy Systems Research" achieved the second tier of the VAK journals as of May 17, 2024.

This indicates that articles published in "Energy Systems Research" are fully eligible for dissertation defenses needed for obtaining either Candidate or Doctor of Sciences degrees in the following disciplines:
