Anatoly Levin Represents Melentiev Energy Systems Institute at IHTC-18 in Rio de Janeiro
The 18th International Heat Transfer Conference (IHTC-18) was held from August 2 to 7, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This premier scientific event in the field of heat transfer gathers prominent researchers from around the world every four years under the auspices of the Assembly for International Heat Transfer Conferences (AIHTC). In 2026, the Conference served as a platform for more than 600 researchers.
The research findings of the Melentiev Energy Systems Institute (ESI SB RAS) were presented by Anatoly A. Levin, D. Sc. in Engineering, Head of the Laboratory for Dynamics of Steam Generating Systems.
The Conference featured round-table discussions on critical objectives in the energy sector, ranging from core engineering fields like multiscale heat transfer in electronics and thermal energy storage, to macro-level challenges such as sustainable development, the energy transition, and carbon neutrality.
