Delegation of Young Researchers from the Harbin Institute of Technology Visit the Melentiev Energy Systems Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
A delegation of young researchers from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), led by Professor Wang, a renowned expert in the field of power engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at the HIT, visited the Melentiev Energy Systems Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ESI SB RAS). The visit included a joint workshop and tutorials organized within the framework of the Sino-Russian Joint Research Center for Advanced Energy and Power Systems (SRJRC) of the HIT and the ESI SB RAS.
The workshop provided a platform for young researchers from both countries to present their scientific results, exchange technical insights, and lay the foundation for further cooperation in the field of modern power systems. The presentations covered a wide range of topics, from the integration of sustainable energy to high-efficiency power generation solutions.
The participants decided to hold the SRJRC events on a regular basis to expand academic collaboration, strengthen cross-cultural scientific ties, and pave the way for future joint projects between the HIT and the ESI SB RAS. During the visit, E. A. Barakhtenko, A. V. Domyshev, and A. N. Kozlov, each holding a Ph. D. degree in Engineering, delivered lectures and shared their recent research findings.
