The paper presents a methodological approach, algorithmic aspects and a prototype of a computer program, which address to optimize the interactions between energy producers and consumers in the distribution network of a multi-energy system. The producer supplies both gas and electricity. Consumers are able to generate electricity with their own gas turbine power units. So either electricity or gas can be purchasing to cover the electrical load. The producer maximizes income by setting energy prices. By choosing the type of purchased energy carrier, consumers minimize the cost of electrical load covering, based on preferred prices. Then the optimal interaction option of market participants is selecting. The steady-state hydraulic and electric operating conditions (gas and power flows) of the multi-energy system are calculated. Existence and acceptability of these conditions verified. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.
