The reliable failure-free operation of electric power systems requires valid initial data. Technical failures or impact of cyber-attacks can cause partial loss or corruption of these data. If this happens at the boundary of the neighboring electric power systems, owing to their mutually supportive collaboration it will be possible to verify the information in one electric power system using the measurements from a boundary area of a neighboring power system. © 2016
